As many of you know, my cat also has an unusual name, so I appreciate the creativity! Out of all the names listed above, I think Tubby Yum Yums is my favorite. What do you think? Are these names unique or just plain crazy?

well we all have those silly names we end up calling our babies. my one boy is zimmy. and then there is his brother rusty, who my husband has taken to calling "monkum" for absolutely no reason, but the cat actually responds to it by now so he's stuck ..... the ones above are a little much for me!

Most are cute, some are crazy! Our male cats are named (in order of age) TEDDY BEAR, SMOKEY BEAR, and YOGI BEAR!

I have a female cat that we named Lexi, sometimes I call her Lex-Ann, or Lexi-co Purr-is (like the NFL player - Plaxico Burress - not really fans just thought it was cute. lol) I also have a male cat named "D" and another female named Sheba...she is a very round and "fluffy" cat, so her nickname is "Big Booty Judy"

Some of the names are cute, but a few border on grounds for an animal rights suit. I'm a great one to talk, with Gandolf the gray minded, Kali Ma, Shaylee (means fairy princess of the meadow) and Rigel (means foot of the gods and he's a huge Maine Coon. I will read these kids the list and they won't feel so bad about their names.

Great names! I'm lucky enough to be "owned" by Garcia. He was born the same minute that Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead left our universe. Officially, he's "China Cat Sunflower Garcia Sparkle Marshmallow Paws." He's a big, slender and muscular red tabby - extraordinarily healthy for 14.5 years. I think it's because of the Friskies and his favorite bedtime treat - milk!

We had a cat named Blackie J. Gutworthy. You can guess his size...My son's cat is named Flea. Not named for a member of the band U2, but because that's what he was covered in when he was rescued. He's big, too (but not fat).

Stray that comes around is called Molly Mcbutters or Mcbutters for short cuz it's the largest (read *fat* ) stray ever or sometimes my bf just calls her Fat Doll lol and we have Lucy sometimes called Lucy Loo(Lui)inside. I wanted to name her Monkey though and my bf thought that was st*pid and then I saw a show where this guy named his cat Monkey!! So there!

I love the unique names,it says alot about the owners and the cats. My females are named after Drag Queens- Dana Douglas, T.T. Torrez, Erica Adams, Ezmarelda and my males are-Marsay and TreyLee. They each have their own special personality to go along with their names.

I love Shyanne Thailand Moo Goo Guy Pan, Tripod, & Angry Donut. I'm new here so I wish I had known about this. I had Madame FuFu, James Brown, Lady Tigress, Budweiser & his sister Bud Lite, & Sir Gimps-a-Lot (a stray I fell in love with & took in). It's comforting to know that maybe I'm not quite so crazy as my friends and family think.

I think a lot of these names are unique but some are just CRAAZY!! I mean..my one cat has a little unusual name so I can appreciate the creativity..her name is Spookers Dookers...but some of those names are off the wall!! I mean do u really think that owner calls its cat every time by saying Shyanne Thailand Moo Goo Guy Pan? I highly doubt it!! But, hey whatever floats ur boat!!! LOL!! Keep the originality alive!!!
