Friskies Explorer SK and her cat Nala have so much love to go around that they’ve volunteered to share it with others! They’re members of their local Pets on Wheels – a pet visitation therapy
program. According to SK, Nala has a special aptitude for being around sick people and is very popular at the nursing home they visit. Who wouldn’t love a cat as cute as Nala?
Nala is a 6-year-old domestic longhair who has a playful and sweet personality. Here’s what Friskies Explorer SK had to say about her:
How did you and Nala first meet?
I adopted her from a rescue group who found her abandoned in an apartment.
How did you come up with the name Nala?
I named her after the leading lady in “Lion King” because she looks so much like a lion.
If Nala was on an island and could only have 3 things, what would they be?
Food, companionship from a person and catnip.
What are 3 words that best describe Nala?
I usually describe her with words from Elvis: “Burnin’ hunk ‘o’ love”!
What is Nala’s favorite Friskies flavor?
She likes all the Friskies canned foods, but those with a sauce or gravy are her favorites.!
