Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Well, maybe just the tigers. And perhaps it’s more like Tiger’s, because there sure are a lot of them out there!

We’ve compiled a list of the most popular Explorer cat names to see how it compares to the national favorites. Check and see if you’re cat’s name made either of the lists:

While the lists are slightly different, five of the ten names – Smokey, Tigger, Shadow, Oreo and Princess – are on both. Surprisingly, my cat’s name – Sir Beef Wellington – wasn’t on either of them!

My next oldest cat is called Mr. Bentley because his tail is crooked (wonder if this stray got his tail caught in a door?) My youngest cat is coal black, but my daughter named him Bosco after the chocolate drink mix. All 3 of my cats were strays.
